Lori Hummel’s Tips for Autumn Clean Up & Curb Appeal

First impressions are everything! According to the National Association of Realtors, 63% of homebuyers will drop by after viewing a home they like online. What will they see? The home's exterior – including the front entry, yard, driveway and sidewalk!
Wash your House’s Face: Before you do anything else, wash the dirt, mildew and general grunge off the outside of your house.
Maintenance is a Must: Fix items like sagging or hanging gutters, scrape and re-paint the peeling exterior of your home and make sure to Reseal cracked Asphalt.
Neaten the Yard: A well-manicured lawn clear of fallen leaves will boost the curb appeal of any home. Don’t forget to pull weeds and invasive vines.
Add a Splash of Color: Hardy Fall Flowers, such as Mums in Pots add color to the front of your home and give an overall welcoming feel.
De-Clutter: De-clutter your exterior by removing items like swimming rafts and toys leftover from summer.
