While purchasing her First Home Lori Hummel loved the process from start to finish and realized Real Estate was her calling. She pursued her license in Real Estate later that same year and started working with clients in the Pittsburgh region. As she and her husband raised their children she joined the Howard Hanna Real Estate Family. Howard Hanna was the perfect fit for Lori because she loved the idea of working for a Family Business. The Hanna’s are always accessible to her and her clients. Most of the Hanna Family works for the business putting an emphasis on family values which is a high priority for Lori.
In the 1980s Lori arrived in Oakmont to market The Fairways of Oakmont as the Leader of the Condominium Division. She fell in love with the town and has had ties to the community for 30+ years. After success in Oakmont she expanded into the city and Eastern suburbs. Today Lori Hummel works out of the East Suburban Office as a Condo Specialist, New Construction Specialist, and Multi-Million Dollar Producer. Lori has a passion for working with people. Whether you are a First Time Home Buyer, in the market for a Million Dollar Home or anything in between Lori is knowledgeable and offers personal attention to each of her homeowners. Clients quickly become friends which Lori feels is the highest compliment.
No two days are ever the same and that is just the way she likes it! Her years of experience in Oakmont made her the perfect choice to join the Sales Team at The River’s Edge of Oakmont with builder, Brooks & Blair. Nestled along Allegheny Avenue Lori spends several days a month at the sales office helping people build their dream home in Oakmont.
Lori has always been involved in Oakmont and in 2015 found her dream home and made the move back. The move to Oakmont was a no brainer for Lori and her family. They loved the small town feel with accessibility to the city and strip district. Oakmont always has something going on whether it be in the business district or at one of the parks or local organizations. Her favorite night out usually includes a trip to the Oaks Theater for live music. As a member of the Oakmont Chamber of Commerce Board she volunteers at community events and helped plan the 2017 Oakmont Christmas Home Tour. Both as a realtor and in her spare time she loves looking at homes because of the design and architecture. In addition to the Chamber Lori is active with the Riverside Women’s Association, sponsors the Riverview Softball Team, and donates to several local organizations and groups. She says you have to support the community you call home!
When Lori is not working you will find her in the kitchen cooking with her family, traveling, or shopping in Oakmont or Lawrenceville. Through Howard Hanna she has earned over 20 trips including a visit to her favorite country, Italy, and an amazing trip to Barcelona this past spring. Lori and her husband, Lars, own an apartment in Copenhagen where he is originally from and love to get away for a quick vacation. As a real estate agent she truly can work from anywhere and her clients never need to worry if she is enjoying lunch at one of her favorite Oakmont restaurants or walking around Copenhagen!
In addition to her family Lori has one more great love, The Beatles! It is well known among her clients that if you are driving together to see a property you will be enjoying Beatles music on the ride. If you see her at an event be sure to check out her socks as she only wears Beatles socks!
