Welcome to the Roberts Insurance Group! Our partners are Chris Roberts and Jean Roberts Pollard. We are a brother and sister team and have been in the insurance business for over 10 years. When you become a customer of our agency, you become part of our family.

We chose to be an independent insurance agency to make sure we can provide the best products to support our customer’s needs. It is our pleasure to assist each family to give them the best coverage at the best price. We are licensed to sell all lines of insurance including: home owners, car, commercial, boat, motorcycle, RV, life and health.

We don’t have gimmicks or reptiles, or spend a lot of money on advertising. That way we can save you money and still provide you the best insurance coverage.

Jean has been in the business for 10 years. She began her career as an Account Manager for British Airways, negotiating contracts for international companies. She also has experience as a manager for AAA Travel Agency.

Jean loves to constantly learn by taking continuing education classes, leadership and marketing classes. She wants to be the best insurance agent and be in business for the long term.

Jean won the 5 Star Professional Award for 2016, 2017 and 2018. This award is given by Richmond Magazine and comes from customers who nominate their favorite insurance agent.

Jean has been on the board of Market Ashland Partnership for 10 years, including 5 terms as Secretary and 2 terms as President.

She is a member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce, the Mechanicsville Rotary, Prosperity Alliance BNI and the River City Express Network.

She was in the Junior League of Richmond, serving on the board for 2 years as the Vice President of Resource Development. She was also on the board of the Emergency Shelter and chaired their top fundraiser called Race for the Roof.

Jean’s key to success is giving 150% to all she does and helping her customers in any way she can.

Chris has 30 years in the insurance business and is a member of the Leaders Club, earning many all expense paid trips from insurance companies all over the country. His interests include all University of Tennessee Sports, College Football, NFL Football and the weather.

He is a Master Mason and a member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and has skills in abstract thinking and problem solving.

On the weekends he loves working in his yard and hanging out on his deck watching the birds. He enjoys fishing, golf and taking long walks with his wife. He has also traveled the US spending lots of time on the west coast and has really enjoyed cruising the Caribbean and has learned the art of snorkeling.
