A career Mom who raised and educated 2 sons and a daughter. Our family moved from Central Connecticut, where I called home for 32 years, to Jefferson City. MO for 12 years. Living in the mid west was a cultural change for myself and my oldest son Michael yet considered home for younger son Jeremiah and daughter Margaret. Margaret and I moved to Pittsburgh in 2002. Today I am also Gran'Mom to Fiona and Noah who call San Antonio TX home.
After 20 plus years in customer sales, service and executive operations management, I reinvented myself and earned my PA real estate license in 2003. My handicap was having no sphere of influence and most challenging I did not know how to get anywhere without map quest and driving directions even if it was 2 streets away! I overcame this obstacle and sold my first million dollars in sales that year. I focused on relocation buyers (having relocated with my family 3 times) coming into the area and work primarily by referrals I received from networking with other business professionals and from my past clients.
I also specialize in offering homeowners dignified solutions to foreclosure by counseling consumers of their options. The 2009 Market is very different compared to 2003. One of the only Advanced Certified Distressed Property Experts in Western Pa. and proud to say that to date I have a 98% record preventing foreclosure.
I enjoy working with 1st time Homebuyers and Investors who are committed to preserving our real estate marketplace. Investors will rehab and resell or hold and rent properties. Improving properties and preserving neighborhoods for future generations is one of my goals.
Relocation certified, working with transferees moving out and into the North Hills of Pittsburgh continues to be my focus. My 14 year experience since 2003 with relocation as well as marketing traditional, short sale and REO properties supports my success with transferees. I offer a unique marketing system improving on the success rate of sold properties even in difficult market areas.
