Professional Approach

We believe planning for the future requires more than investment advice. It does not have to happen in silos, where a tax accountant focuses only on taxes and another firm handles the financial plan.

The Shimkus team brings together decades of wealth management and tax planning experience, along with health insurance and Medicare expertise. We work seamlessly with clients to help them prepare for the future and navigate major life transitions, such as retirement, divorce, the loss of a spouse or the loss of a job.

We provide our clients with three important things:
1) Partnership: We prioritize strong client relationships, working with clients and their
families through the ages and stages of life.
2) Clarity: We help our clients organize their unique needs, concerns and goals.
3) Insight: We use our experience and understanding of each client’s personal situation to
identify appropriate strategies. These may include preparing for retirement, long-term
care or life insurance planning, estate considerations and more.
We believe better plans come from working as a complete system rather than addressing
individual parts.

Holistic is not just our approach to planning — it defines who we are.
