Craig Novorr was handpicked to join Paragon Capital after a highly successful career as an institutional portfolio manager and working with ultra affluent clients. Mr. Novorr’s success co-managing the Scout Technology Fund and Scout Growth Fund demonstrated his unique abilities in identifying investment opportunities and – more importantly – building strong relationships.
Joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Novorr immediately demonstrated the value his clients place in him, as several with whom he enjoyed longstanding relationships with followed him to Paragon. Since then,he has been named Kansas City Magazine’s Best Personal Wealth Manager twelve times and a 2010 Kansas City Business Magazine Rising Star.
In 2015 Paragon begain shifting focus to more customized investments to protect clients from the huge market swings that were casued by the technology bubble in 2000 and financial crisis of 2008. Using a combination of individual securities, structured products, private credit, private equity and private real estate allows Paragon to create a portfolio that helps clients achieve thier goals.
Craig Novorr is a 1996 graduate of the University of Kansas, from which he earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He is active in the business, religious and local community. Mr. Novorr has served as a member of the executive leadership team for the Walk for Wishes, an event for Make a Wish Foundation, as well as a Cub Scout Den Leader and youth basketball coach. He has served on several boards or committees including Past President of the Overland Park Rotary Club, Kansas University Hillel House, Temple B’Nai Jehuda and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
