Mr. Kay offers financial planning services through his private Prudential agency and LPL Financial. having been in the industry for more than 20 years. His firm operates on a fiduciary standard, legally bound to putting each client’s best interests above all else helping them pursue the best possible solutions for their situation or concern.

Over the years, Mr. Kay has also gained valuable expertise in the field as vice president of Ameriprise private wealth management group, a financial specialist with Allstate, and a consultant for AXA Originally, he started in the finance industry with Fitch Ratings in Manhattan NY as a analyst intern before briefly doing mortgages prior to expanding his financial practice in a range of areas. In high school he obtained the distinction of Eagle scout and continued to wear a uniform while attending the Merchant Marine Academy after graduating. An expert in his field, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Drew University in Economics, then obtaining Series 24, 66 and 7 licenses in addition to all insurance lines prior to attending the American College of Financial Services to obtain the Retirement Income Certified Planner title allowing for the addition of RICP following his last name. Additionally, to stay up to date in the field, he aligns himself with the Million Dollar Round Table obtaining the Court of The Table distinction and a member of NAIFA.

During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Anais, two children: Liam and Elise and also giving back to others by volunteering in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary with boat crew status and as a vessel examiner. Looking forward, Mr. Kay intends to further expand his practice with Prudential and continue to pursue other new endeavors and challenges that may arise.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
