Rick is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS®) with Planet Home Lending in Bellevue, Washington, where he also serves as Branch Manager for the Pacific Northwest. Planet is a national lender with a deep local presence, offering direct lending and a wide range of programs tailored to today’s buyers and homeowners. Rick's focus is helping clients secure the most cost-effective loan structures to support long-term financial health.
Rick was honored with the Washington State Business & Humanitarian Outstanding Loan Originator Award in 2016, a recognition that reflects his longstanding commitment to professional excellence and community service.
Community Giving: Rick is deeply rooted in the Eastside community and passionate about giving back. He serves as an Emeritus Board Member of Imagine Housing, a nonprofit that supports permanent affordable housing. He also supports the Forgotten Children's Fund, where he's proudly earned the title of “Head Elf” and FareStart, which addresses hunger, homelessness, and joblessness through job training and social enterprise.
Before entering the mortgage industry, Rick built a successful career in finance, sales, and operations leadership at United Airlines and later at Expedia. His background gives him a broad, strategic lens that continues to serve his clients well.
