Professional Approach

Hello there — I'm Chris Ward, and I would like to thank you for taking the time to learn about EntryPoint Wealth Management. My passion is helping families make better decisions to achieve more in their financial life. Starting in middle school, I worked in the family tax office reviewing tax returns and learning to manage a business at the dinner table. I joined the financial services industry in April of 2005 and have spent the last 13 years as a successful Wealth Advisor for major brokerage firms in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I specialize in helping clients working to achieve Retirement, Business Owners, and Real Estate Investors. At EntryPoint WM, we analyze every aspect of our clients' financial lives. We consult on Cash Flow, Retirement Plans, Tax Return Analysis, Customized Investment Management, and Estate Planning. I believe that the best approach to Financial Advice is first to help clients outline their best lifestyle, then work to achieve that aspiration through implementing the right financial decisions over time.

You need to know that as a CFP®, I work as a Fiduciary with all my clients. I believe that humans act primarily in their own best interests (a Freakonomics Theory) and feel that there are increasingly too many conflicts of interests (commissions) in the Financial Industry. I believe that every person deserves an advisor that takes an interest in your life, listens to what is important to you, and builds a set of recommendations to support you in achieving your personal and financial goals. By starting my own advisory firm, I am best positioned to provide unbiased advice to my clients and help them achieve more successful results over their lifetimes.

Professionally, I was recognized in 2020 as a "Five Star Wealth Manager under 40," having been a Five Star Wealth Manager for nine years, including 2023. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ achieving the designation in 2017, and a member of the XY Planning Network and the National Association for Personal Financial Advisors. I have held many brokerage securities registrations over my career and was even registered as a life & health insurance agent at one time. I look forward to learning about you, your family, and how I might be able to use my expertise to help you achieve more.

Personally, Amanda and I have been together for 19 years. She is a savvy entrepreneur operating three coffee shops in Northern Kentucky. I am lucky to be a father to 3 boys who are passionate about spending time in the woods, Football, Scouting, Legos, and, of course, Xbox & iPads. Currently, I serve as a Board Member for COVE Federal Credit Union, as Treasurer for Troop 805 (Union, KY), and I am involved with two NICU-based parental boards at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.

At EntryPoint Wealth Management, Investment Management is a core component of helping our clients achieve their financial goals. Through our client onboarding, we access your risk tolerance, outline your goals, and go to work building a custom portfolio for your long-term success. We implement global asset allocation-based portfolios with a tactical approach with a proven track record of success. We strive to discover investment ideas with a high probability of outperformance and incorporate them into your portfolio to achieve a higher expected outcome.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
