Professional Approach

R. Karras, Asset Management & Planning, LLC. was founded in 2008 by Robert Karras after many years of financial success dating back to 1982.  Bob began his financial career with a major Insurance Company and after much success and several promotions climbing the corporate ladder, Bob decided he wanted more for his clients and decided to become an Independent advisor versus a company employee with proprietary products.  In 1995, Bob started his quest for complete Independence and formed his company, The Financial Strategies Group based in Cleveland, Ohio with a partner.  Recognizing his Independent drive, clear focus, and unmatched work ethic, Bob chose to continue his success with a name that clearly speaks to what he does.  So, R. Karras, Asset Management & Planning, LLC. was formed in 2008.

Over the years Bob has continued to educate himself in the financial service arena and has attained both designations of CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and CHFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) through the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.  Due to the complexities of the financial services arena and to better serve his clients, Bob went on to achieve the prestigious CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation and was awarded this designation in 2001 through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Currently as of December 31, 2021, Bob is just 1 of 3244 CFP's in the State of Ohio.

A lifetime resident of The Greater Cleveland area, Bob understands the landscape and thought process of his clients and continues to support and grow with them in all aspects of their lives.

Over the years Bob has served on several local Company and Non-Profit Boards helping companies and non-profits establish policies and providing guidance. Additionally, Bob has conducted many seminars on all aspects of Financial, Retirement and Asset Management to groups and schools in an effort to continue to guide and help educate individuals.
