Professional Approach

With over 30 years of retirement planning experience, I have been advising individuals, business owners and 401K plan sponsors to help them work towards meeting their financial success and fiduciary responsibilities. As a Registered Principal with LPL Financial, I am experienced in retirement and estate planning with an emphasis on wealth accumulation strategies.  I understand today more than ever, the importance of a global, economic approach to investing in markets domestically and abroad.  I have years of actual market experience being in the business since May of 1986 after graduating from William Paterson University in 1985. I hold a Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial along with the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation.  I started my career at New England Financial and worked several years at Mass Mutual Life Investor Services working with clients on their investment and insurance needs.

In 2000, I made the decision to join LPL Financial and open a branch office, which is located in Parsippany, NJ operating as Beacon Wealth Management Group, LP. Throughout my years at LPL Financial, I have won client service awards and am a recognized club member (based on production). I am the Principal of an LPL Financial branch office, and I am responsible as an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction and assume the role of Managing Director for Beacon Wealth Management Group, L.P. My retirement planning process begins with an in-depth evaluation of a person’s current financial summary while adhering to three core principals.  These are risk tolerance, investment objective and time horizon. I have hosted many educational workshops to help educate the public on such topics as “Market Timelines” and “The Roth IRA”.

 

I am active as a leader in my community and participated as a coach of youth sports.

Anthony M. Calabrese, CFP®, PPC™, CPFA™? has been a LPL Registered Representative since 2005 and has since had extensive experience within the Financial Services Industry. Prior to LPL Financial he spent three years at New England Financial, then a division of Met-Life Securities. Anthony currently holds the Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 registrations held through LPL Financial and in 2010, he also earned both his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Professional Plan Consultant™ designations after a two very intensive educational curriculums.

The love for financial success and the passion for delivering financial advice started at a fairly young age for Anthony. Growing up in a family of educators, all of his relatives had the retirement certainty of a pension. This was where it all started and is something he resonated with. This all blossomed as he began his career as a Financial Advisor with New England Financial. At NEF of North Jersey, Anthony earned various sales and goal awards/accommodations in 2001 and 2002. This was where he quickly gained his knowledge and experience that he continues to practice with today. After three years of work within this organization Mr. Calabrese joined LPL Financial, a national independent Broker/Dealer. This office has now become known as Beacon Wealth Management and has offices in Chester, Caldwell and Union. The team specializes in full comprehensive Investment Planning, where Anthony deals primarily with both corporate and individual retirement income planning and distribution of assets for individual’s in their prime earning years. Over time he has built a niche market in working with both athletes and entertainers in the music business. Anthony is a Financial Economics graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and a Certified Financial Planner course graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park, NJ.

Anthony’s approach to Wealth Management is a three-fold philosophy. One: understanding the client’s risk tolerance and emotions toward risk. Two: investment objective and plans for risk vs. reward and three: the time horizon intended in order to develop a portfolio for the client’s accumulation, distribution, estate and retirement needs. Through the use of many various creative strategies, along with the use of innovative investment products through their Broker/Dealer LPL Financial, Mr. Calabrese can effectively help to pursue the many diverse needs of his clients. In his time out of the office, Anthony remains a very active individual. For many years, College Basketball has been his passion. He was the previous Head Men’s Basketball coach at Berkeley College, Newark for 6 years, prior to resigning in search of other opportunities, which he found at both Montclair State University and Kean University. After 6 more years within these institutions, it became time to focus on his kids and his family. None the less, the epitome that the athlete inside you never dies holds true. Anthony is married to his wife Katie and has 2 children, Anthony II and Karalina. During the winter months, you can find him in Lincroft, NJ, but throughout the summer, they spend their time at their beach house in Seaside Park NJ. Through various charitable and volunteer work programs such the Knights of Columbus Organization and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Mr. Calabrese exhausts all the rest of his spare time giving back to the community, coaching his kids and volunteering to help those in need.

Luis R. Da Costa, CFP® has been dedicated to helping people create and preserve wealth since 2001. The key to his success is the personalized approach he takes to assisting clients with selecting suitable financial and insurance products to suit their individual needs. Each area of a financial plan is important individually, but managing them all collectively is one of the most important considerations in your overall financial objective.

Luis is well qualified to help his clients. After obtaining a B.A. in Mathematics from Rutgers University, he went on to earn the advanced designation of a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional. Working with a planner who has the CFP® certification lets my clients know I have additional education in financial planning. To obtain the CFP ® certification, Luis attended a rigorous academic program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and passed a comprehensive exam. He maintains this designation through a program of continuing education and an adherence to a strict code of ethics.

As a result of the comprehensive advice and service he aims to provide, Luis has built a loyal following of clients. His practice continues to flourish thanks to clients recommending him to friends, family members, and business associates.
