My name is Nicky Hungerford. I am a Senior Loan Officer with the Denver based Universal Lending. I have been in the mortgage business for over 15 years. I specialize in loans types like FHA, Conventional, VA, CHFA, 203k and Jumbo. I have a great passion for First Time Buyers and helping to educate them with all of the steps in the loan process and to help them discover the long term goals. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions that people will ever make in their lives and having the education and knowledge of all of their options is a must to me. Prior to becoming a loan officer in the business I spent many years in a variety of different roles including being an underwriter for 6 years. I understand how the loans are underwritten and love to help buyer’s trouble shoot issues. I am not afraid of a tough deal, not everyone or everything is perfect situation. My experience in mortgage lending during the good times and the bad times has afforded me the chance to help with picture perfect situations and those that just needed a little bit of love and tender care to get them to the finish line. Aside from being a single mom with a 13 year old son, mortgage lending is my passion!
