Jerry Calnin
I started in the mortgage business as a loan officer in Appleton, WI in 1986. My career in mortgage has included managing mortgage offices, hiring and training loan officers, opening branch offices and overseeing the processing and closing departments. While I’ve done a lot of management down through the years, my first love is working directly with my customers.
Although I’m approved as an FHA Direct Endorsement underwriter, I have always focused on the production side of the business. I believe strongly in investing in yourself and have attended many mortgage origination and underwriting training sessions though the years. I believe that the right to own real estate is one of the cornerstones of our free enterprise system. I believe that we are extremely fortunate to live in a country that not only allows, but encourages its citizens to prosper. My passion is teaching clients how they can achieve financial independence through managing their largest asset… their home.
My wife’s name is Carol and we’ve been married since 1978.
We have 3 children, Heather is a marketing and social media specialist, Jeremy is an auto technician and Corey is a truck driver with incredible computer skills.
My hobbies and interests include riding a motorcycle, bicycling, woodworking, kayaking, traveling and watching any kind of racing.
