Professional Approach

Chris Audus is a Senior Director – Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) in the Randor, PA office. He joined the Firm in May 2011, and he works primarily with wealthy individuals and families. Backed by Oppenheimer’s research, investment services, trust department, insurance, and other resources, Chris works with each client to provide integrated financial planning services customized to help them work toward their investment goals.

He believes that building a relationship of trust with clients takes personal communication, sound investment advice, transparency, and personal accountability. Establishing this type of relationship enables clients to feel confident that Chris is acting in their best interest and that he understands the traditional and alternative investments for qualified investors and financial planning strategies that he tailors for each client.

After graduating from Providence College with a B.S. in Finance, Chris began his career at Wells Fargo Advisors. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 66, 31, and 9/10 licenses, and is licensed as an agent for life, accident, and health insurance in CA, CT, FL, NJ, NY, PA, OH, and SC. His educational background also includes the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation issued by the Certified Financial Board of Standards, Inc.

Chris lives in Barrington, RI with his wife Kasey and son Conor.  In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, playing golf, and exploring the cultural and social opportunities that Rhode Island has to offer.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
