James J. Speir is the founder of Speir Financial Services, LLC, providing financial and insurance services. James’ passion is to provide continuous financial guidance to individuals and families who need to secure their financial future. He has been developing safer, conservative retirement and estate plans for two decades. In addition to providing products and services from some of the largest, most stable and well-respected names in the financial industry, his number one commitment is to serve his many clients and to be there when their life situation changes. James is an independent Investment Advisor Representative with CoreCap Advisors and offers independent full brokerage of insurance.  He holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology and a master's degree in social work. He has a personal financial planning certificate from Oakland University. He has prior experience as an administrator in the health care industry and maintains his license as a social worker in the state of Michigan.

James is also the founder and chairman of the Senior and Caregiver Resource Network. This non-profit network’s mission is to be a complete source of ethical, competent and trusted solutions for caregivers and older adults with a respected reputation in the community for senior services. The network is also responsible for raising funds to assist seniors in need. James is an active member of his community in Huntington Woods, Michigan. He is married and has two sons.

Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
