• The Helen Phelps award recognizes one outstanding volunteer in the Denver Public School system for their contribution towards education at their annual award through the Denver Teachers foundation. Roy received the Helen Phelps award in 2019 for his involvement in funding initiatives for North High School.
• Roy's accomplishements before Kentwood included:
• Re/Max International Hall of Fame-Roy became a member of Re/Max’s second highest awards club.
• Platinum Club-Roy was the first Re/Max 3000 agent to become a member of this top producers award since it premiered in 1994, and continued until moving to Kentwood. 
• Lifetime Achievement Award-Roy became a member of this prestigious award by qualifying with over one hundred million in sales and over 10 years service with Re/Max. 
• Broker Associate of the Month for the Denver Metro area, by the Broker magazine.
• Who’s Who in Denver Real Estate-a publication by the Denver Business Journal.  Roy was named one of the top Realtors in Colorado in 1990’s.
