Buying or selling a property is an important process comprised of many decisions. One of the most important is hiring a trusted advisor who supports and guides you throughout, making things as easy as possible. Through fact-finding and education, counseling and preparation, coordination, negotiation, and transaction administration, I aim to earn and affirm your trust in me.

The child of a career military officer, I have lived globally, in places all across the country, Asia, and Europe.  I learned early to appreciate cultural variety, and I experienced first hand the anxieties and aspirations of relocation. I want to make your real estate transactions, selling or buying, as easy on you as possible.

With a Ph.D. in theology and experience in education, the ministry, counseling, sales, and management, I began my real estate career in 1989. For almost thirty years, licensed in Missouri and Kansas, I have helped clients sell and buy residential and commercial real estate throughout the metro Kansas City area--from new construction in Lawrence, KS and Peculiar, MO, to a C. 1832 home near Liberty, to acreage from Grain Valley to Lathrop, MO. Especially drawn to historic properties and neighborhoods, I have developed an expertise in the area of historic homes sales.

*"Walter Guth is wonderful! He has helped our family in the past with selling and purchasing 4 homes.  We never consider anyone else because he is the very best.  We ask for his opinion and direction on things because he knows the business.  He is not pushy."  Brenda Mueller

*"Walter came highly recommended by a coworker, and we are very glad for it.  Walter was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to help us out with any aspect of our home search and purchase.  You can tell he cares about his clients as people, not as numbers."  Brian and Renee

*"Guth has devoted more thn his share of time to improving civic life in the community.  His resume sports more boards than Home Depot." Dennis Boone, Kansas City Star January 6, 2000
