Sam works with clients on an individual basis to learn about their specific needs and determine an appropriate financial plan that matches their goals, oversees the implementation of the plan and helps clients monitor how things are going. Over the course of time, Sam helps clients make any necessary adjustments to stay on course, even if that course might change. 

Sam enjoys being engaged with his peers to continually learn new ideas and stay abreast of industry news and trends. For more than 20 years, Sam has been an active member of the Twin Cities Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, Twin Cities Estate Planning Council and the American Association of Individual Investors. 

Sam holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, accredited investment fiduciary, chartered life underwriter and chartered financial consultant.

Angie’s degree in psychology and her background in communications suits her well for her role as a wealth advisor. She is a natural at listening to what keeps clients up at night and what their dreams are for their families. Having also worked in the nonprofit industry, she is accustomed to understanding the importance of working diligently to make every dollar count.

Angie is passionate about her career choice as well as the firm where she has chosen to work - BerganKDV provides a breadth and depth of services and the ability to build relationships with the people she works with, clients and teammates alike. She also values the integrity shown by the company and her team. Decisions are based solely on what is right for the client and not on the ups and downs of the market or today’s latest trend. She enjoys learning about what makes a client’s day and the little things that are important to them. 

Becca earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Truman State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. She is involved with the Central Minnesota Estate Planning Council. 

Adam Heathcote, CFP®

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Adam evaluates and compares financial measurements and benchmarks to offer clients a complete financial road map. On a day-to-day basis, Adam helps manage and coordinate aspects of his clients’ financial lives. Working mainly with executives and business owners, he enjoys talking through situations with clients and helping come to a resolution.

Adam has his bachelor’s degree in economics from Macalester College in St. Paul. He is a part of the Sartell/St. Stephen Education Foundation, CentraCare Health Foundation, United Way of Central Minnesota and volunteers his time at the YMCA. Adam is also an active officiant of high school football, basketball and collegiate football.
