"This is going to be a lengthy review, because I’m a TRUE New Yorker. If you are looking for a realtor who will listen to you, find you listings that meet your criteria, is down to earth, outgoing, friendly, personable, caring, loving, professional, fun and makes buying a new home fun, exciting while not having an anxiety attack, then I strongly suggest you use Patricia "Trish" Carroll. Not only is she top notch, and I mean that but the people she recommends are also great. I am so glad I followed her recommendations. Her referrals are typically the “sellers” choice. Grab them before they do. This review is coming from someone who lived and worked within a 10-block radius for almost 30 years. We had been thinking of moving for several years. However, having 3 young children, one widowed parent who lived very close and a mother in law, who is ill, the comfort of staying in a borough that we had lived our whole lives and were very comfortable with, always took precedent over moving. However, we knew the move out of Brooklyn was inevitable. We decided this would be our year. So, this was going to be the year. Our eldest son was going to begin middle school. So, I started doing searches, mostly on Zillow.com. I met up with many different realtors and basically spent our weekends going to open houses. Every realtor I met promised to send me homes that met our criteria, but very few did. I would receive pages with listings that I would have to comb through, only to find that a few met our needs. I kind of felt it was a lost cause. We never saw a home that met all of our criteria. Then, one day after driving around looking at open houses, we passed a house with a sign and decided to go in. We had spent the day going to “open houses” and figured we had nothing to lose. Well, this is when our angels intervened and we met Trish. Even though we told her the house she was showing, at the time, was not what we were looking for and out of our price range, she sat with us, for almost an hour, and asked us specific questions about what, where and why we were looking to move. I can honestly say that Trish was the ONLY realtor that listened and sent listings that met our criteria. Needless to say, Trish found our home by late summer. We loved it. We met with the schools and were put at ease. Our children would be receiving a wonderful education, with differentiated classes and at a smaller ratio. From beginning to the end, Trish was always with us. Even when she herself, had a family emergency, she was able to accommodate our inspector’s schedule, so we wouldn’t have to miss work and travel to NJ. She was with us throughout the whole process, from start to the absolute finish. I would never recommend anyone BUT Trish Carrol. I am telling you from my heart, you do not want to go through this process without her on your side. She is amazing and we absolutely love and trust her!!
