• I have had the pleasure of knowing Maura Mills for almost ten years, and have enjoyed working with her in a seller/listing broker capacity on multiple real estate transactions during this time period. Maura has represented me on both single family and income producing properties. Additionally, I plan to list another property with Maura in the near future. • Maura is, bar none, the best realtor I have ever worked with. Why is she so special? There are three main reasons: 1) She knows every house in the area, its pros and cons! 2) She listens to what you want. 3) She has an instinctual feel - from decades of experience - as to how best to negotiate to get your house. Now for more detail of our experience buying a house with her: First, she listened to us and only showed us houses she knew we would like and be able to afford, i.e., she narrowed down the choices for us in a superbly efficient, intelligent way. She personalizes her selections based on your priorities and tastes. Second, when she finds out a house is even about to be advertised and thinks it will sell quickly, she acts right away to get you in to see it. In terms of knowing the housing stock better than anyone, I'll just quote you what she said to us upon learning the house we ultimately bought was going to be for sale: "Well, there are two types of homes on that cul-de-sac, built by two different builders. I have to check but if the house is the one I think it is, you'll want to see it, whereas if it is one of the others, I won't show it to you." Lastly, negotiations. She told us what we needed to offer - and how to offer it - to get our house. She also was firm about not overpaying for a house, even in the bidding war we were in. It was the way she helped us structure the offer that I believe led to the owners choosing to sell to us. Such service is rare. You will not find a better realtor, nor a nicer person.

• Maura helped me buy my house and she made the experience quite enjoyable both because she's knowledgeable about the real estate market and because she exerts no pressure at all on her clients. We searched for 6 months and saw about 50 houses together and I never felt any pressure to make up my mind; in fact, she was constantly reassuring me that I should keep looking, because, when I do find the right one, I will know. And she was right. She's also funny and pleasant, which is a bonus given how much time we ended up spending together. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
