Beginning his real estate career in the down market of 2011, the Kansas City area native has used his extensive experience in sales and marketing to negotiate win-win deals on residential properties for a growing list of satisfied clients who have become his friends.

Buying and selling a home is one of the most stressful and usually one of the largest financial decision a person(s) makes – so Mike listens with empathy to truly understand the unique needs and wants of his clients and assist them with achieving THEIR Goals.

Having lived in Kansas City for over 47 years, Mike is very familiar with the area and has personally witnessed the extensive growth especially in the Johnson County community. Mike is trustworthy – always putting the needs of his clients first; and by being a strong negotiator, it allows them to get great values whether buying or selling a home.
Mike moved to Prairie Village, KS in 1968 when his father was transferred from St. Louis. He is a graduate of Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, KS ranking 5th in a class of 227. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1982 with a B.S. in Marketing, earning the Dean’s List three years. He worked in the Insurance Industry for a number of years with both VALIC and The Hartford in the area of Employee Benefits.
Mike has been married for 34 years and has three adult children and one “grand-dog”. He is very involved with his church, having coached the grade school track program and is a past Grand Knight of the Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus. He also served as the President of his local Home Owner’s Association. He enjoys watching sports of all kinds, but especially The Royals, Chiefs, and K-State. Mike loves his large family as he is one of 27 first cousins - with one who recently served as the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland. His wife Beth (Johnson) is from Lawrence, KS and they have 30 nieces/nephews on that side of the family. Mike and Beth love to entertain and smoke BBQ for their family and friends, highlighted by their annual Turkey Fry party on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and St. Patrick’s Day Hoolie in March.
