Greg started as a loan consultant in 1987 and consistently earned the status of a top producer with Commonwealth Mortgage, a national mortgage lender. In 1995, Greg joined with a select few other mortgage loan officers who shared a similar vision of being 1) a DIRECT lender 2) a locally owned and operated company 3) a lender offering in-house processing, underwriting and funding and 4) a belief in superior service to the Real Estate Community. The principals who created Guild Mortgage Southwest all have at least 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and were managers and top producers at other mortgage operations. Greg has been with Guild Mortgage since 2001. 

As a Sr. Loan Officer and Branch Manager, Greg provides a wealth of knowledge and experience. Specializing in a variety of loan types including loans for 1st time buyers, FHA programs and loans for Veteran and VA home buyers. Greg feels that it is his job to give you a thorough understanding and knowledge of your financing options, and to find the loan product to best fit your long term goals. Greg offers personalized service and tailors his approach to fit your specific situation. Greg has closed over 3500 mortgage loans and has the experience and expertise to get your transaction closed and closed on time!

Our ability to do loans with no overlays allow us to close most loan types with FICO scores as low as 600, as well as the ability to close loans on "flip" properties, manufactured homes, manual underwriting incl for borrowers with no credit history, Streamline 203k home improvement loans, escrow holdbacks for repairs, FNMA Homepath loans and loans for investors with 5 and more properties.
