In 2014, Darren earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional ("RICP®") designation so that he can help clients obtain a secure retirement and effectively manage the transition from asset accumulation during a client’s working years to asset decumulation in retirement. Darren completed his Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation (ChSNC®) so that he may better serve the special needs community by helping special needs individuals and their families preserve financial assets and maximize access to essential government support services.
Darren prides himself in the ability to convey complicated concepts, strategies, and solutions in everyday language so that the firm's clients can understand not only what they have and what they are doing, but why they have it and why they are doing it.
It is for this reason that nearly 80% of the work of the firm comes from other financial advisors. Darren and his team are the trusted resource for advisors who want to focus on one area of planning or lack an expertise an area of planning. Profectus augments and completes the work of these other advisors to offer a more robust financial planning experience for their joint clients.
