Professional Approach

Samuel S. Reidy, Esq. received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Boston College in 2006 and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2009. Mr. Reidy became a member of the Massachusetts bar in 2009 and then began practicing in civil litigation at the firm of Hassan & Reardon (now Reardon Law Office) in downtown Boston. In 2016, Mr. Reidy established the Law Offices of Samuel S. Reidy in the South Coast area where he is originally from.  Mr. Reidy also became a member of the Rhode Island State Bar in 2016.

Over the past twelve years, Mr. Reidy has successfully represented clients in a wide range of legal areas including personal injury claims; trusts, wills, and general estate planning; probate; contract review and disputes; employment law; health law; and other general civil litigation matters. These matters range from complex to simple automobile accidents; licensing board hearings for health care professionals; medical malpractice claims; employment discrimination and harassment claims; contract drafting and disputes; non-competition agreement review and drafting; lawsuits involving Massachusetts General Laws chapter 93A bad faith violations; deposition preparation; corporation formation and legal counseling; small claims disputes; insurance reference proceedings; and executing wills and trusts documents. Mr. Reidy has helped navigate clients through the settlement process as well as represented clients at depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and at trial.

Mr. Reidy is currently admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Rhode Island, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Reidy is a notary public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Prior to becoming a member of the Massachusetts bar, Mr. Reidy gained experience through comprehensive internships in the Administrative Law Division at the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts and for a contract attorney in an entertainment law firm. Mr. Reidy also served as a research assistant for a law professor in the fields of property, land use, and law practice management. 

Since establishing the Law Offices of Samuel S. Reidy LLC in 2016, Mr. Reidy has received several awards and accolades. In 2017 and 2018, Mr. Reidy was voted the "Wicked Local Readers Choice Award: #1 Choice for Attorney/Lawyer" in Swansea, Massachusetts. In 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, Mr. Reidy was named a Five Star Investment Professional in the area of Estate Planning as announced in Boston magazine. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, Mr. Reidy was named one of the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 for his work as a civil litigator.
