David & Avarelle are owners and partners of Keller Williams OC Coastal Realty (KWOCC) in San Clemente.  In 2015 Keller Williams was named the largest real estate company in the world with over 150,000 agents!  From 2009 to 2017 David served as Operating Partner of KWOCC.  At KWOCC, we have grown from 10 to 150+ agents and are now the largest real estate office in San Clemente.  David and Avarelle have been designated Five Star Real Estate Agents by Orange Coast Magazine and have just been featured on the cover of Executive Agent Magazine.

 

Avarelle is a real estate attorney and broker.  Avarelle earned her B.A. degree from UCSD and her J.D. degree from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.  Avarelle has been an attorney for over 32 years and a real estate broker for over 28 years.  Prior to becoming a full-time real estate broker, Avarelle was a real estate attorney for O’Melveny & Myers in Orange County. Avarelle’s clients have included homebuyers and home sellers, investors, lending institutions and builders.  Avarelle’s broad legal and real estate background enhances her ability to serve her clients.  Real estate related legal services are always provided free of charge to our real estate clients.  In 2012, Avarelle was proud to be named a director of Family Assistance Ministries (FAM).  FAM provides food, shelter, and client aid to thousands of people in South Orange County.  Each year FAM distributes over $2.3 million in food to the hungry in South Orange County, and over $90,000 in cash aid in the form of vouchers and bills paid.  FAM houses 60 women and children annually in its transitional shelter in San Clemente.

 

David has been a Realtor since 1987.  He is proud to have been named REALTOR of the Year by the Orange County Association of REALTORS.  David served twice as President of the Southern California Multiple Listing Service Corporation, one of the largest MLS providers in the world, serving over 55,000 subscribers in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.   He also was elected President of the 14,000-member Orange County Association of REALTORS.  David is honored to have been a Director of the 200,000+-member California Association of REALTORS and the 1,000,000+-member National Association of REALTORS. David was a founding director of CARETS (California Real Estate Technology Services) a company that will bring all the MLS data in California together to better serve consumers and REALTORS.  Recently David helped negotiate the merger of the two largest MLSs in California into the California Regional MLS, now the largest MLS in the world.  David is proud to have received the Fair Housing Award from the Orange County Fair Housing Council for his work in advancing affordable homeownership.  David has been an advisor to the Saddleback College real estate program, and now teaches a monthly orientation program on behalf of the Orange County Association of Realtors to new agents.  David is a coauthor of the Plain Language Dictionary of Real Estate.

 

David attended UCSD and the Law School at USC.  From 1997 to 2004, David was the #1 agent at Century 21 in San Clemente.  Prior to that, David was associated with Tarbell Realtors for 7 years and was honored as their top high-end agent.
