Karl Frank is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and also holds the designations AIF®, MSF, MBA, MA. He is the President of A&I Financial Services LLC, a Colorado company that helps a small number of successful families grow and protect their investments and choose how they want to be taxed.

Karl is a leader and a giver in the Denver community. He is a former President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Colorado and has held numerous Director roles for this, and other, non-profit organizations.  He launched Denver Financial Planning Day in 2009, bringing together the best CFPs in Colorado and providing advice to everyone, whether they are homeless or have millions in their checking accounts. This annual event has since blossomed into a model for other cities around the USA.  Karl was nominated by his peers as a "Leader in the Profession" and is profiled in the June 2012 edition of the Journal of Financial Planning for "Going the Extra Mile." In 2014, Karl was selected as an Ambassador for the national Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board.

Karl is the author of Go Tax Free. He is also an accomplished public speaker. He has appeared on local television stations, including KCNC 4, KUSA 9, Fox 31 and others.

Karl’s education includes a Certified Financial Planner® designation and three Masters Degrees. He earned a Master of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Denver, Daniels College and Reimann School of Finance. He also has a Master of Arts in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds FINRA securities licenses 7, 24, 52, 63, 65, as well as his life insurance license.

Karl loves mountain sports, especially hiking and skiing. Karl and his family live in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria-considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9.
