RDM Financial Group is a carefully constructed team of 16 salaried professionals, not commission based professionals (CFP®, MBA, CFA, CDP, CLU®, ChFC®, RFCIC, CRC®, CRA) who are committed to the overall financial success of our clients. Ours is an ever-evolving process. Clients’ lives change and financial markets change. As part of our process, we constantly monitor how our clients are positioned relative to meeting both short- and long-term goals. We believe the investment advisor should work closely with the client’s tax and legal professionals in order to create a coordinated, thoughtful plan. This allows clients to efficiently direct resources toward their stated goals. In these volatile times, we believe our almost 98 percent five-year client retention rate coupled with the significant tenure of our staff and management attests to both our stability and abilities.

Five Star Professional, as a third-party research firm, administered a survey, by mail and phone, to 1 in 4 high-net-worth households (over 112,000 households) and registered financial services representatives (over 16,500 financial services professionals) to evaluate the approximately 28,000 wealth managers in Connecticut (includes Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland, and Windham counties in the state of Connecticut). The evaluation was based on nine criteria, including customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post sale service, quality of recommendations, and overall satisfaction. After review by a panel of local industry experts and a review of regulatory history, Five Star Professional determined the final list of 2011 Five Star Wealth Managers scoring highest in overall satisfaction and representing less than 7% of the wealth managers in Connecticut.
• Five Star Wealth Managers do not pay a fee to be included in the research or the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers.
• Only wealth managers with more than five years of experience in the financial services industry are considered.
• The overall evaluation score of a wealth manager reflects an average of all respondents and may not be representative of any one client's experience.
• The Five Star award is not indicative of the wealth manager's future performance.
• Wealth managers may or may not use discretion in their practice and therefore may not manage their client's assets.
• The inclusion of a wealth manager on the Five Star Wealth Manager list should not be construed as an endorsement of the wealth manager by Five Star Professional or Connecticut Magazine.
• Please keep in mind that working with a Five Star Wealth Manager is no guarantee as to the future investment success nor is there any guarantee that the selected wealth managers will be awarded this accomplishment in the future.
